What the berry contributes

The immune claims for sea buckthorn rest on three things it genuinely carries: vitamin C, carotenoids and flavonoids. All three have established roles in normal immune function, and the berry has an unusually dense supply of them for a fruit.

That is a narrower statement than "boosts immunity", which is a marketing phrase rather than a measurable one. What can be said fairly is that immune function depends on nutrient adequacy, and this is a nutrient-dense food.

What the formulation adds

Immunosash combines the berry with sea buckthorn seed oil and leaf extract, so it draws on all three parts of the plant rather than the pulp alone. The leaf is where the flavonoid content is concentrated. Giloysash instead pairs the berry with giloy (Tinospora cordifolia), one of the most-used herbs in Ayurveda for this purpose.

If you are not sure

The plain juice is the cheaper starting point and carries the same vitamin C and carotenoids. The formulations are worth the difference only if you specifically want the leaf extract or the added herbs.
