What is in them
Both pair sea buckthorn with karela (bitter gourd), jamun and related herbs that have a long Ayurvedic record in this area. Karela in particular is among the most studied plants for blood sugar — with mixed results and modest effects where found.
Worth noting: the plain juice contains no added sugar at all. The panel reads 0 g, which is part of why it is so sour.
